ALUMNI CAFÉ EVENT OCT 14th: DO ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE? - MANAGING TEAMS AND DEPRESSION

Many employees continue to work while experiencing mental health issues with little impact on productivity. Of course, like any illness, there are situations in which the individual is not able to work due to the severity of the condition.

In this event, we discuss these issues with the view to giving managers a better understanding of the challenges facing employees struggling with mental health issues, in particular depression.

Our presenter is Wayne Wigham ex NRL legend for the Balmain Tigers, firefighter, teacher, real estate agent, inventor, business owner and North-Ryde native.

He knows that true strength comes from accepting and admitting our vulnerabilities. Today Wayne works as a lived experience presenter with Black Dog Institute to share his story and break down stigma so others will seek support for themselves and others experiencing challenges.

As this is an Alumni Café Zoom event it will be limited to just 10 attendees. This is great opportunity to join in on the discussion and interact with our presenter and other alumni.

PLEASE NOTE: This event will not be recorded, so only those who attend will be able to experience the event. To book your place click here.
