MGSM LECTURER'S NEW BOOK FOCUSES ON THE HISTORY OF NEW SOUTH WALES



Professor John Croucher needs no introduction. Almost every student at Macquarie University who has studied statistics knows of him. For over two decades, John has been a valued Lecturer of the MBA Program having taught Information and Decision Analysis, and more recently Applied Business Techniques. As well as his doctorate in mathematics and statistics, John also holds two PhDs in history. His knowledge and expertise spans across 33 books, 120 research papers and over 1000 newspaper & magazine articles. 


With much interest and enthusiasm, we are pleased to announce that John has recently published another engaging book titled 'A CONCISE HISTORY OF NEW SOUTH WALES’. This book shares comprehensively the evolution of NSW from its early days and how it has progressed over time. It encapsulates various aspects of the history from the pioneers who have helped shape NSW, different cultures, indigenous population and marquee events in the development of NSW. The book gives rich knowledge about the progress of the most populous state of Australia with each chapter focusing on various cultural or historical aspects and events.
