WILL I EVER SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN?

On Thursday 22nd April 2021 we farewelled 8 MGSM academics in great style at Sydney’s Verandah Bar and Restaurant. Over 90 alumni representing over 4 decades of students joined current students to share their memories of studying at MGSM and how their lecturers transformed their understanding of business, work, change, relationships, leadership and life.

It was a little like a great Irish wake. A proper amount of alcohol and food, jokes, laughter, embellished memories, loud agreement, a few arguments and a celebration of what was, and what is to come, rather than melancholy of what has been lost.

Professor Richard Badham, Professor Gayle Avery, Professor Norma Harrison, Associate Professor Paul Nesbit, Associate Professor Steven Segal, Dr Andrew Heys, Paul Blanket and Randal Tame, will we ever see your face again? Unlike the audience response after the Angels’ Doc Neeson sang this line, the answer is a definite “yes” as each affirmed their wish to stay connected to the students of MGSM who meant so much to them.

To all the academics, alumni and students that joined us for this celebration. Thank you and hope to see you again soon.

At the event Randal Tame interviewed some of the lecturers. To view the videos, please click on the names below:
